A Triumphant Return!
The greatest warriors and hero’s have all fallen but what makes them great is their ability to be resilient, fight on in the face of adversity and ultimately Triumph. It’s been 6 years since we lost everything and the time has come for us rise up once more and breathe new life into Nicolet.
We have spent the last 8 months working with artists, watch makers and various suppliers designing what we believe will be the most impressive Nicolet ever built. And in anticipation of our successful Kickstarter campaign we’ve named it… the “Triumph” as a tribute to those who define the very essence of what being a hero is about
We have spared no expense in bringing to life an all Swiss Made, limited edition masterpiece triple sub-dial chronograph with expanded date window focusing on great technical innovation in both case design and function with only 1886 pieces slated to be produced in each dial color.
The case build is nothing short of spectacular combining Titanium with 316L Stainless Steel. We designed the case to be Triumphantly strong and bold at 44mm in diameter and 17mm thick with deep tactile knurling on the case sides and crown. Then we layered the entire case in IP stealth matte black. We capped it with a lustrous uni-directional Titanium bezel which has the highest strength to density ratio of any metal- period, making virtually scratch proof.
We worked directly Rhonda, one of the most respected watch movement companies in Switzerland in choosing the coveted 3540D engine that will power the Triumph and sealed it securely with a completely screwed down caseback that affords the timepiece an astounding 660 feet water resistance.
Function and form are synergistically blended into the Triumph via a beautifully curved case, lugs and caseback. In addition, we employed a unique process that allowed us the ability to create a complete integration of the genuine leatherstrap into the case on both the upper and lower lugs. The lower strap actually appears to be built into the watch body as it flows beneath the case and lugs.
Of course, the face of any timepiece is where its true character evolves. We wanted to create drama in the dial so we submerged it deep within the case and built it with an amazing 5 stack layer configuration that includes;
In addition, we invested in layering kits that allow us to create a unique “stop watch” control center with the crown and chronograph pushers on the top of the case at the 12 o’clock position as opposed to the traditional location at the 3 o’clock position. The chronograph start button is clearly identifiable to the left of the crown by a brilliantly colored aluminum pusher and the stop button with its stealth black color on the right side of the crown.
A timepiece of this quality and caliber would easily retail for upwards of $1500. Through my longstanding relationships in the industry I am proud to be able to offer our Swiss Made, Limited Edition Triumph to you at a fraction of that price.
